EXHIBITOR INFORMATION

2008 ANNUAL MEETING

North Pacific Surgical Association cordially invites you to exhibit at our 95th Annual Meeting being held on November 14-15, 2008 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seattle. NPSA was founded in Portland, Oregon in 1912 and is one of the oldest surgical societies in the United States and Canada. We have a membership of over 330 elected surgeons from the Pacific Northwest (Alberta, British Columbia, Oregon and Washington) with caucuses in Portland, Tacoma, Seattle, Spokane, Victoria/Alberta and Vancouver, B.C. General surgeons are our primary audience, with an expected attendance of 125 at this meeting.

The 2008 scientific meeting will present approximately 24 clinical and scientific research papers in areas of basic science and clinical surgery, oncology, trauma, critical care, colorectal and breast surgery, laparoscopic surgery, bariatric surgery and others. Papers are subsequently published in The American Journal of Surgery. You can review abstracts from prior meetings on our website at www.nopacsurg.org . Continuing medical education credit will be provided by the American College of Surgeons, and by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Our visiting professor this year will be Dr. J. Patrick O’Leary, a nationally known surgical educator and Chairman and Professor Emeritus at Louisiana State University.

As an exhibitor, you can purchase a display table and registration for one representative starting at $1,495 USD. At the $2,875 level, receive booth space, registration for two representatives, and recognition on our website and scientific program book. At the $5,750 level, receive expanded booth space, registration for four representatives, recognition on our website and scientific program book, plus recognition for supporting a conference event. All exhibitors will have additional opportunity to support conference events. And if you cannot attend, a CD virtual presentation up to a minute long can be shown of your company at a support level of $1,150 USD or more.

We will have vendor passports and raffles to encourage participation. You will have a display table or booth space in the registration area and will meet attendees during breakfast, breaks and at the Friday vendor luncheon. You also have the option to join attendees at the Friday evening New Members Reception and Dinner at additional cost. Past exhibitors have numbered from 25-30 companies for our annual meetings.

Your exhibit is important to us not only in helping defray conference expenses, but for the commitment your company will show for the surgeon’s professional growth and to the organization in which they belong. We thank you and look forward to your interest and partnership in this annual meeting.

Sincerely,

Michael J. Hart, MD
President
